During this difficult season, as the government shutdown affects many of our neighbors, we at UPC are stepping up our partnership with the U-District Food Bank. Right now, the need is greater than ever. Over the next few weeks, we’re collecting more than our usual amount of non-perishable food items, along with much-needed essentials.

Elders, together with UPC’s installed pastors, prayerfully discern God’s direction and provide spiritual leadership and governance for the congregation. On the Thursday of Holy Week, we remember the Last Supper and celebrate Communion in a service we call Maundy Thursday. It is a solemn and reflective occasion, but also a time of fellowship and community. This service will be held at 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
