Executes a strategic plan for welcome which includes in-person and online experiences. Introduces congregants to discipleship, community, and missional opportunities as they deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Develops and maintains systems and processes to invite, train, assign, encourage and support congregants as they engage their gifts in the mission of Jesus.
This position administers details related to public worship services at UPC, including Sunday morning, evening services, special services and concerts (Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, etc.). Coordinates other departments and staff as they intersect with the worship services.
Do you have a heart for Young Adults in the Seattle area? This position leads the development of ministry to Young Adults with a particular focus on those that are 21-30 years old. This primarily includes recent graduates and or/young professionals.
This position administers details related to public worship services at UPC, including Sunday mornings, evening services, special services, and concerts, looking at the entire experience from parking lot to pew and back again, facilitating a culture of welcome and hospitality.
Full-time interns receive a $1,050/monthly stipend + housing.
The purpose of the internship is to provide experience in all areas of ministry at UPC within the context of the larger church. Interns participate in learning opportunities while engaging in relational ministry.
