During this difficult season, as the government shutdown affects many of our neighbors, we at UPC are stepping up our partnership with the U-District Food Bank. Right now, the need is greater than ever. Over the next few weeks, we’re collecting more than our usual amount of non-perishable food items, along with much-needed essentials.
UPC Local Outreach is collecting new men’s white athletic socks for our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. Bring socks to the red barrels at UPC entrances on Sundays, November 9, 16, and 23. For Operation Nightwatch: "Sock It to Homelessness"

Taking place on Sundays 9:45am–10:30am, this class will introduce students to essential skills such as measuring and marking, joinery, cutting techniques, sanding, and finishing and so much more! Our condolences to the family and friends of longtime UPC member and Sunday kids' leader Craig Strausz, who went to be with the Lord September 28. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in the UPC sanctuary.
