During this difficult season, as the government shutdown affects many of our neighbors, we at UPC are stepping up our partnership with the U-District Food Bank. Right now, the need is greater than ever. Over the next few weeks, we’re collecting more than our usual amount of non-perishable food items, along with much-needed essentials.
UPC Local Outreach is collecting new men’s white athletic socks for our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. Bring socks to the red barrels at UPC entrances on Sundays, November 9, 16, and 23. For Operation Nightwatch: "Sock It to Homelessness"
UPC Scout troops continue the annual tradition of selling Noble Fir Christmas wreaths! Pre-order now and pick up outside of UPC on November 23rd. There will be a limited supply to purchase without a pre-order. Order here.

All 6th–8th graders are invited to join us for Small Groups on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at UPC! We’ll hang out, play games, enjoy snacks, and explore together what it means to follow Jesus. Students will meet in separate girls and boys groups to build deeper friendships and grow in faith…
Families can join the Goldblooms at UPC for cornhole, foosball and other games in room 280, free play in the gym, and snacks. This is not a drop-off event, please stay with your kids and connect with other families. (Middle School small groups meet at the same time.)

Members create lap robes, children’s quilts, and other sewn items for care facilities outside of UPC and fulfill requests for needed items within the church body. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
