Do you know a UPC member who might make an excellent Elder or Deacon candidate? Elders, along with UPC’s installed pastors, are responsible for the discernment, spiritual leadership, and governance of the congregation. Deacons provide compassion, care, witness, prayer, and service for various needs in the congregation. This leadership body is centered on the mission of UPC, “Joining Jesus in His Mission to Reconcile All People.”

You are asked to pray that God places people from our congregation on your heart who may be called to serve in these roles and submit their names. Recommendations must be received by February 15 to ensure ample time for the discernment process.
