We are overjoyed to celebrate baptisms with families. We baptize infants and children on the basis of a parent’s faith until that child is mature enough to make that faith their own. Infant baptism demonstrates the great truth that God takes the initiative with us (even while we are incapable of faith) and invites us with his great promise of life in Jesus Christ.
