In partnership with the Senior Pastor and Executive Director of Operations, Prentice builds out the mission and vision of UPC by providing strategic integration and alignment to all of UPC’s ministries.
Prentice is a gifted pastor who comes to us with 19 years of experience serving as a teacher and minister both in California and the Greater Seattle area. He has served for the past eight years as lead pastor for the West Seattle campus at Bethany Community Church. Prentice is a highly relational leader who values ministry work around community outreach, spiritual formation and building small groups. He focuses on all aspects of ministry from leadership to participation. With a heart for college students and young adults, Prentice has a wealth of experience building faithful and vibrant communities among these groups.
He is an avid Pacific Northwesterner with passions in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, coaching Crossfit, hiking, and single-origin pour over coffee. At the top of his list would be his wife, Maria, their newborn daughter, Adaline and their dog, Selah.
