James Kiarie, originally from a small rural village in Kenya, bears witness to a life journey marked by God’s grace across three continents: Africa, Asia, and now North America. With a background in business, government, non-profit, and church organizations, James’s life is a testament to God’s strength in his weakness. Currently pursuing an MDiv at Western Seminary, his Christ-centered ministry focuses on building faith communities in both real and virtual spaces among underserved groups. At UPC, he serves as the Ministry Coordinator for Worship, where he combines his passion for worship with a love for fostering edifying relationships across diverse cultures. James’s heart is especially tender toward serving the vulnerable, socially isolated and the underserved communities. He delights in making genuine lasting friendships wherever the Lord leads his steps, trusting in God’s ongoing work and guidance in his life.”
