November is Stewardship Month

Fall is here, and each year at UPC we take time in the month of November to learn more about Stewardship. If everything we have belongs to God, how does that impact what we do with what he's given us?

This year we are excited to be more specific in the ways we include all ages and stages of our UPC family into these conversations and practices of generosity.

Here are just some of the ways you'll see and hear about stewardship throughout the UPC community in November:

+ Pastor George will teach about Jesus and Financial Freedom during the moments just prior to our offering in worship services each week.

+ We'll get to see short Stewardship Stories videos each week during worship. These are great stories about UPC family members who are experiencing the joys and challenges of giving. (If you can't make it to a worship service, be sure to follow us on social media and make sure you're subscribed to The Connector to see the videos online!)

+ Our kids will have the opportunity to participate in a "noisy offering" during worship services on Sunday, Nov. 26. If you are a parent or if you serve in Children's Ministry, watch for more details from our Children's Ministry team!

+ Our Sermon Study Guides each week will include questions about stewardship to encourage small groups to dig deeper into this topic.

+ The Rock (middle school students) will focus on stewardship and thankfulness in November. Students will also have an opportunity to give towards a special project.

I'm excited to see what God has in store for all of us as we spend some time thinking about how to live generously in light of God's generous love for us.
