University Ministries

University Ministries is a place where college students in Seattle can discover real life in Jesus Christ.

We're best known for The Inn, a Tuesday night service where college students from all over Seattle gather to worship, learn, and have fun. There are lots of other ways to get involved including: missions, retreats, student leadership, and much more. We also partner with Young Life College. Come to the Inn to meet us in person and learn more!

Spring Work Days

Saturdays, April 7, 28 & May 19, 8:30am-5pm

Help University Ministries Deputation Teams raise money for summer missions by hosting a Spring Work Day!

We have 24 students going to four countries this summer on Deputation! We are excited about the growth of the deputation program (this is 4x as many students this year than last year), but it also comes with a need for more Spring Work Days to financially support this great ministry!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Email Justin Davenport at to request a specific number of workers and pick a date. (Minimum: 2 students; suggested donation $125/student)
  2. You receive your students on the specific Saturday from 8:30am to 5pm. They do whatever work you have for them to do!
  3. You provide lunch
  4. Suggested donation is $125 per student worker. This helps pay for their 2-month summer mission experience around the world.

We have a goal of 200 total work days this spring. Would you consider hosting workers for any of these dates?

The Inn

Tuesdays at 9pm

During the school year, The Inn gathers on Tuesdays at 9pm in Larson Hall (find the entrance on the corner of 16th & 47th). Each week, 200–300 university students gather together to celebrate real life in Jesus Christ in worship through humor, song, prayer, teaching, and socializing. The Inn is "home" for hundreds of college students, but new students are always coming. If you're a current student or college-age, come check it out and introduce yourself to a greeter or someone on staff!

About University Ministries

Our Mission Statement
To the Glory of God . . . Our purpose is to "Go and make disciples of all nations," beginning with college-age individuals and young adults in the greater Seattle area.

We Aspire To:
Introduce students to Jesus Christ and urge them to commit their lives to him as Savior and Lord and help them develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

We prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up by:

+ Teaching and equipping them to better understand and communicate their faith
+ Helping them experience Christian community and intimate, honest relationships with one another
+ Beginning the process of helping them discover and use their spiritual and leadership gifts
+ Providing opportunities and a vision for a life of mission in their communities and around the world
+ As part of God’s call to us, we seek to understand the various needs of college-age individuals and young adults and to creatively minister to those needs. Our desire is that their faith established today will stand firm tomorrow.
