Join us this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Advent is a special time in the life of UPC; there are so many ways to get involved, be it a special worship service, Christmas party, or service opportunity. See the list below and find something just for you!

Holiday Food and Toiletry Drive

SUNDAYS, NOVEMBER 11–DECEMBER 23

Support our local homeless community by donating this holiday season to the University District Food Bank. Donations of canned food and new toiletry items are welcomed through December 23. Dropoff all items in the red barrels near entrances. 

 

Advent Night

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 7:30–8:30PM, SANCTUARY 

Everyone’s invited to this family-friendly service. We will draw our attention to the upcoming Advent season and provide some resources for celebrating at home throughout December.

 

Cathedral Choir Christmas Concert

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 3PM, SANCTUARY

The 80-voice Cathedral Choir presents "Christmas Blessing: a Concert Celebrating the Christ Child," their annual Christmas concert, featuring choir, organ, string ensemble and brass ensemble.  Includes audience sing-along on favorite Christmas carols, plus wonderful choral music of the season.  No charge; open seating.  Doors will open at 2:30pm. 

 

Christmas at World Markets

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2, 9AM–2PM, LARSON HALL

Purchase food, globally-made art and handcrafts at this annual event benefitting UPC missionaries, task forces, and mission partners in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa. Plus new activities this year for the kids! 

 

Global Friends Christmas Party

DECEMBER 7, 6:30PM, LARSON HALL 

Internationals are invited to a delicious dinner, Christmas Pageant, and a visit from Santa Claus! (International students only, please). Learn more about Global Friends online.

 

Neighborhood Christmas Party 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15, 10AM–2PM, LARSON HALL 

All aboard for an adventure in Narnia where magic awaits! Christmas trains, tea, and delicious treats, too. Invite your friends and neighbors!

 

This Dark December 

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 7:30PM, INN CHAPEL 

Join us for a service of hope as we acknowledge God’s presence with those who mourn, grieve, and struggle during the Christmas season.
