Urban Ministries

“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.  We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, generous inside and out, true from start to finish.”

–John 1:6-7  The Messageundefined

It is a wonderful invitation to follow Jesus into the down-to-earth realities of our own neighborhoods.  The greater Seattle-Metro area hosts a great diversity of cultures and people, a complexity of need, and a delightful wealth of opportunities to engage our neighborhoods with the love, generosity, and purposeful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Human Trafficking Task Force

This brand new UPC task force is seeking out ways to promote education and awareness, support service providers for human trafficking victims, and seek justice for those oppressed in this modern day slave trade.  If you are interested in being involved, join us at our next gathering on Thursday, May 21 at 6 p.m. in UPC's Rainier House (4714 16th Ave NE).  Come help shape UPC's involvement in the anti-trafficking movement!  For more information, e-mail Mike or call 206/524-7301, ext. 214.
