Welcome to Small Groups at UPC

Lent Small Groups

During the season of Lent, we contemplate the death and resurrection of Christ in worship and in small group Bible Studies. The whole church and our friends, neighbors, and families are invited to share encouragement and hope in a small group.

Small groups usually have 6–12 people who gather to
  • Worship the Lord – through prayer and sharing His work in our lives
  • Study the Word – Bible study
  • Care for each other – encourage one another, bring meals when someone is sick, pitch in when a group member needs help
  • Relate as friends – sharing dinner, a barbeque, celebrating answered prayers, breakthroughs, birthdays
  • Love our neighbors – reaching out to care for others beyond the group
