Associate Director of Contemporary Worship
This full-time Associate Director of Contemporary Worship (AD) will be instrumental in shepherding and equipping our contemporary worship teams to engage the congregation in our mission of Sharing Hope in Jesus Christ. The AD will work with the Director of Worship and Arts to craft the overall flow and content of UPC’s contemporary services and to help shape the overall direction of worship ministries at UPC. The AD will be responsible for leading our contemporary musicians in excellence, for helping to build up the next generations of worship leaders at UPC, and for caring for the spiritual life of the family of musicians who make up our contemporary worship teams. An important goal of the AD will be the continual revitalization of contemporary worship arts in the worship of a large and vital urban church.
Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor
This position partners with both the Senior Pastor (50%) and the Executive Pastor (50%) in fulfilling the vision and mission of UPC through a wide-variety of administrative responsibilities in support of their work. S/he is also the primary point of support to Session so they are resourced to do work of discernment and decision making. The position is full time (40 hours/week) and benefited. The preferred schedule is Sunday through Thursday.
The Director of Children’s Ministry implements the mission and vision of UPC by providing leadership for Children’s Ministry within the Family Life Ministries department. The Director will lead the efforts of the Children’s staff, elders and volunteer leadership teams to support vision, build strong discipling relationships between volunteers and children, create quality programs, and support parents as the primary influence in their children’s faith.
