Every Member a Minister

We believe that each person is made in the image of God and has unique gifts and abilities intended to be used for God’s glory both in the church and beyond its walls. This is expressed in the phrase “every member a minister.” 1 Corinthians 12 serves as a practical grounding for this belief—that every member has value, has a role to play in the larger body of Christ, and is called to serve as a minister of God’s grace, reconciliation and hope in Jesus Christ. There are many ways to serve here at UPC and with UPC as we partner with other ministries who are involved in God’s kingdom work in our local community and around the world.
