Short-term mission trips are a response to our call to follow Christ out into the world, to grow closer to him, and to gain a more expansive view of the world and God's purpose for us in the kingdom. It is a discipleship opportunity for those participating in the trip, as well as for those they serve. These teams play a vital role in providing support for our personnel who receive them in the field.
Trips are typically organized by task forces, with logistical support from our Outreach department. Recently, teams have traveled to El Salvador, Haiti, and Ukraine.

Women's Trip to Bosnia
Summer 2012
We're looking for women who are passionate about serving women in Bosnia for two weeks in late June or early July. We'll focus on sharing craft activities, discipleship teaching, and building friendships in a society that suffered from major ethnic conflict in the 1990s. Approximate cost: $2800–$3000, including airfare.

Women's Trip to Kenya
Sep 20–Oct 3
Visit groups of women in Kenya who are saving money to buy water tanks for their family. Ten-thousand liter tanks fill up during the rainy seasons to provide much-needed drinking water for families in the dry seasons between. We'll build concrete bases in anticipation of the women purchasing tanks to place next to their homes. Celebrate with them as they open their savings banks and make their purchases.
