Serve Internationals in Seattle
Serve with the Language Institute
We welcome Christian volunteers who have a heart for serving and building relationships with newcomers to our community. Service opportunities include tutoring English in small classes at University Presbyterian Church or one of our partner organizations, or one-on-one in the communities of greater Seattle.
Our current tutoring volunteer opportunities are:
ESL tutor for a Cambodian woman in Everett
ESL conversation tutor for a Chinese man in the U District
ESL tutor for a Gambian woman in South Seattle
Volunteers are also currently needed to join us at
World Relief
in Kent. A carpool group leaves University Presbyterian Church at 11am and returns by 3pm every Monday.
Visit our
resource page
for a volunteer application, lesson plans and more.

Serve with Ministry to Internationals
Are you interested in coming alongside members of the international community? Weekly gatherings include dinner, worship, ESL classes, Bible studies, and some weekend activities. Our ministry is a relational one and we invite you to come and see what you would like to be involved with. Once you have found the right fit, commitments are quarterly. Training materials are available for those who have never participated in international ministry before.

about our weekly opportunities.
