Ideas & the Arts Task Force
This new task force at UPC seeks to open up conversations on topics of interest to not only the UPC community, but the wider faith community in the University District. This fall, they're hosting a series of events, beginning on September 11, where they hosted a picnic for Muslims and Christians to connect with one another and build relationships.

Love Your Neighborhood
Love Your Neighborhood is an exercise in congregational reorientation and culture shift. It is an experience in envisioning and enacting a new way of "being" the church—a collection of communities (groups of small groups) engaged in witness and service in neighborhoods throughout Seattle and the great Puget Sound area.
Spring 2011 was the inaugural year for the Love Your Neighborhood initiative. In this first year 39 small groups participated, involving approximately 450 UPCers in 45 projects throughout Metro Seattle. It was a tremendous start, and we look forward to having you join us next year!

Union Church
Union is a congregation of University Presbyterian Church in worship, fellowship, and mission in the South Lake Union neighborhood. It was started by pastors James B. and Renee Notkin, who co-pastor the congregation with Jera Blomquist, and a host of part-time ministry lead staff and lay leaders.
This community's objective is to create an informal environment for learning about God through the development of community service and authentic relationships, as well as relevant services and practical, real-life messages.
