Habitat for Humanity, Seattle

UPC’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity Seattle/South King County offers a multi-generational, ongoing opportunity to provide inner-city service. It is our intention to build one or more homes a year for families in need, raise the necessary funds and provide building crews of novice as well as skilled volunteers on Fridays and Saturdays year-round.

As Christ has called us to love our neighbor and to serve the poor, this UPC/HFH partnership is one of many opportunities we have to respond to Christ’s love in a tangible, life-changing way. To learn more or to get involved please visit the Habitat Web site. If you have questions or need additional information please e-mail Terry Proctor or call 206/915-3555.

UCEF was created in 1986 to provide information, referral and financial assistance to people in need residing in Northeast Seattle and to the homeless, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability. Our primary focus is to provide eviction protection to keep families and individuals from becoming homeless or to provide assistance to homeless families and individuals moving into housing.

Our clients often tell us that this level of personal service is rare.
