Beyond Divorce Spring Workshop Series
Mondays, May 7–Jun 18 at 7–8:30pm, Sanctuary Balcony
This series incorporates classes led by professionals in the field and small groups with trained facilitators who come alongside those moving through divorce and separation. Each week covers a different topic. Cost is $45 for the whole six-week series; preregistration is required.

Ignite! Catch the Spirit's Flame
Friday, May 18 at 6:30–9:30pm and Saturday, May 19 at 9am–4pm, Calvin
Ignite is an introductory class on the person and work of the Holy Spirit from a Presbyterian-Reformed point of view. Learn about the Holy Spirit's inward work of transformation and outward work of empowerment in a non-threatening environment. Mike Neelley from Tierra Nueva and Nick Krantz from Foster Tukwila Presbyterian Church will facilitate the teaching, along with prayer teams and worship leaders. Click here for more information.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Thursdays, Jul 19–Aug 23 at 1–3:30pm, 345
Do you provide care for an adult loved one with dementia, chronic illness, or disability? This summer UPC's Parish Nurses will offer a free six-week course designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for someone at home, in a facility, or across the country. Learn how to reduce stress, communicate feelings, improve your ability to make tough decisions, and locate helpful resources. Registration is required.

Women's Enterprises Book Forum
First Mondays, through Jun 4 at 7pm, Calvin
Join us as we discuss books relating to women, poverty, and local and international development. We do not meet in the month of January. On April 2, we'll discuss In the Land of Invisible Women by Quanta Ahmed. Whether you've read the book or not, we'd love to have you join us and share your faith perspective.

Women's Evening Bible Study

We invite women of any age or stage of life to join us in lively fellowship and small groups. New members welcome anytime. For 2011–2012, our Bible study will focus on the Kingdom of God as revealed in Jesus’ parables. For small-group fellowship time we will use Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie's book Autobiography of God, with an additional study guide. $20 registration fee includes books. Register online.
