		What Are You Doing This Summer? Children & Family Ministries is planning some wild activities for our kids this summer, and this is your chance to join the fun! We're looking for dependable folks of all ages to volunteer at Day Camp, June 25–29, or serve on a summer team for Sunday ministries. cfm@upc.org; upc.org/summervolunteers
		Send Your RV to Camp Admit it: your RV needs a break. So why don't you send it on vacation to Camp Side-by-Side where it will house volunteers for a week in August? Camp Side-by-Side is a classic summer experience designed for families who have a child with cancer, and the staff wants to save all the cabin space for families. 		Have Unflagging Enthusiasm? Be a Buddy! Come join us at Camp Side-by-Side! A Buddy is a one-on-one playmate for a child aged 3–18, a facilitator of fun during group activities, meals, and free time, and a support liaison for a Side-by-Side camp family. 		Help Out in the Worship Office The PM worship team could use a hand typing up orders of worship, photocopying music and lead sheets, and setting up the Chancel on Sunday afternoons. Larson AM Fellowship Hosts Make people feel welcome at Larson Fellowship, where people gather in between services to eat and, yes, fellowship.
7pm Service Host Team After the 7pm service, we have a time of fellowship in the Narthex (aka lobby). We need people to join the team that makes this happen!
Cooking Team Help prepare and serve food at Larson Fellowship and various other gatherings.
Hospitality "Special Project Team" This team would do a little sewing, cleaning, closet organizing, flower arranging, and help give inspirational leadership to the overall hospitality of our building.

Stephen Ministers Needed Stephen ministers are a trained team of lay ministers equipped to bring Christ's healing love to people who are grieving, in crisis, or experiencing other life stresses. Financial Counselors If you're a University Presbyterian Church member with a background in finances, we invite you to consider becoming a volunteer financial counselor. Our counselors offer guidance, training, and support for those who need help with their finances, including budgeting, debt reduction, and developing a financial plan. Sue, 206.524.7301 x131
Food Barrels The food barrels will be at the building entrances every Sunday from November 7 to January 2. In addition to food donations, we also need volunteers to staff the food barrels on Sundays. Sue, 206.524.7301 x131

Ministry to Internationals Help internationals practice their English by being conversation partners or by volunteering to host a fun activity to help them learn language, culture and how people live out their faith in the United States. Landscaping Join our landscape and gardening team as they maintain and improve University Presbyterian Church’s gardens and green space. The team meets several times a year for work parties and encourages members to "adopt" their own area to maintain throughout the year. Experience with basic gardening practices is needed. Help Assemble the Sunday Bulletin Help stuff the order of worship into our Sunday bulletins. Enjoy fellowship and conversation with other UPCers every Friday morning while placing the order of worship and inserts into the bulletin for Sunday. Help in the Copy Room University Presbyterian Church is now has color copiers in our building. With the capacity to print color here at the church our production work load has increased. We are looking for a couple of volunteers to learn to operate the production room equipment (copiers, paper cutters, folders, & tabbing machines) and work ongoing projects with our production staff. Music is central to the worship life of University Presbyterian Church, and music is chosen to support and reflect the sermon theme and texts of the Sunday morning and evening worship services. Cathedral Choir Cathedral Choir rehearses Wednesdays 7–9pm September through May. Sings most Sundays during morning worship services and participate in two concerts a year. Auditions are held in January and August for the spring and fall choir seasons. To set up an audition, contact Bill.
Sunday Evening Worship Ensemble We have two contemporary music teams for 5 and 7pm worship. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings and Sundays. Interested in participating as a vocalist or instrumentalist? Bryn, 206.524.7301 x480
Gospel Choir Rehearses Thursdays, September through June. Sings monthly for evening or morning worship and at other events (on break during the summer). All that's required is a commitment to the ministry of the choir; no audition necessary. Read more here. Questions? Contact Aimie.
